We’re thrilled to announce that the NIU Overwatch Varsity team made the Esports Collegiate Conference playoffs!
April 16, 2024, at 7 p.m. CST the 6th seed NIU Huskies will take on 3rd seed Ball State. Watch the game live at https://twitch.tv/NIU_Esports.
The Huskies tied for 6th place with a (7-6) record for the regular season. Even though NIU is the lower seed, the playoff game with Ball State is a close matchup – so we could pull off the upset! If NIU wins tomorrow’s game, the team will advance to the in-person Semi-Finals and Finals at the end of the month.
